Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat

Your rainforest holiday will benefit conservation

Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat is a not-for-profit accommodation venue owned and operated by ARCS.
All ‘profits’ are directed to rainforest restoration on Springbrook National Park.

The 14-hectare property was purchased by the Queensland Government in 2008 for future addition to the national park and World Heritage Area. It is a valuable acquisition for conservation.

To ensure that Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat continued in the mean time, ARCS purchased the business.

Apart from the 2-hectare clearing around the cabins and manager’s residence, the propery supports very advanced regrowth rainforest.

The accommodation consists of 2 cabins and 2 cottages nestled in the rainforest, all separately siutated providing privacy and seclusion.

Enjoy your holiday in summer, when temperatures are 10° cooler than the coast, or settle around the cosy fireplace in winter.
